"The sages looked up to contemplate the patterns of heaven,
looked down to observe the ways of the earth.
They knew the inner workings of things, the theories of life and death.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and theory of Qi (life force energy that flows through distinct meridians and pathways of the body). According to the basic ancient Chinese theory disease or pain arises when the flow of Qi becomes stagnant.

By carefully inserting very fine needles into the body at specific acupuncture points, acupuncture helps to re-establish the healthy flow of Qi. In this way acupuncture helps to regulate and restore the harmonious energetic balance of the body.

Acupuncture is effective in the treatment of the following conditions:

Deborah Maghen is a true healer.  I’m not someone who uses this word or all that it implies and involves lightly; I have a profound respect for medicine and for the myriad of ways health can be enhanced or strengthened. Deborah is insightful. Her healing is deep, intuitive and holistic in a way I’d never encountered before (even among other practitioners of complementary healing modalities). Deborah sees the whole person and treats each individual like a Divine being. It’s an honor and a blessing to be in her presence.
